Genus ABS are looking for a Regional Manager to lead the after-sales team in North Wales. You will partner with the Business Manager to maximise the sale and execution of animal genetic products and services to customer farms daily. Your daily role will be field-based as you travel to dairy and beef producing farms to support your team to deliver the Genus ABS strategy. You and your team will be considered Key Workers. Please note, Ruthin as a location is used for advertising purposes as this is a central store location, you will have responsibility for the entire Clwyd region.
Responsibilities of a Regional Manager:
- Build a high performing diverse team by spending time with Team Leaders and Technician’s on-farm; recruit, develop and motivate individuals to deliver an exceptional service
- Build and maintain networks and relationships, share knowledge and experience, deliver on commitments with farmers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges; accountable for the performance and results of the team
- Develop solutions to enhance service offering and drive continuous improvement, increase demand for services, and build loyalty. Maintain a focus on efficiency, working smart, and transformation
Role requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of leading, developing and motivating people to exceed customer expectations and deliver against target
- Proven experience of adapting plans and priorities to meet service and operational changes; ability to prioritise and organise work for yourself and others
- Proven experience in the farming and agriculture industry
- Direct sales in agriculture advantageous
- Full driving license
