Technical Support

Genetic potential is only valuable if it becomes visible in commercial farms. Our global Genetic Services and Technical Services teams are comprised of over 100 technical experts committed to working with customers to unlock the genetic potential of our pigs. Our team covers specialized areas of focus, including:

  • Genetic Management
  • Reproduction
  • Wean-to-Finish
  • Nutrition
  • Meat Science

Our Genetic and Technical Services teams are working in farms across the globe and provides firsthand experience with best practices on the ground. In addition, our team has real-time access to the latest information available. Our goal is to share that knowledge and information to help our customers get the most value out of their genetics.

Our team shares that information through on-farm visits, boot camps and roadshows. In addition, we offer a variety of technical resources including manuals, and decision-making tools. Most of these manuals and tools are available in our Resources section. For tools such as PIC Pro100 (our sow farm assessment) and our Optimum Weight Calculator we encourage you to reach out to your PIC account manager.
